The First Time, is unlike any storytelling show in Chicago. It pairs our readers' personal stories about a First Time experience with a song performance. The First Time band will be featured and scheduled readers for this first-ever All Star First Time event include writer Joe Meno and former drummer for the band Blake Babies and current food blogger, Freda Love Smith and writer Britt Julious.
The event will be held in the heart of the Historic Printers Row District, in the South Loop at Jones College Prep auditorium. The Printers Row Lit Fest, also known as the Largest Literary Festival in the Midwest, is a free, weekend-long family friendly event that attracts more than 125,000 visitors and offers activities and events from 150+ best-selling authors, entertainers, chefs and musicians for every age and interest.
