Alisa Rosenthal
Alisa Rosenthal (she/her) is a musician, comedian, and teaching artist living in Chicago, IL. A humorous singer-songwriter, her natural energy and engagement infuses her live shows as well as her music and theater programs for learners of all ages. She teaches outreach in the Chicago Public Schools, facilitating drama via Lookingglass Theatre and music via the Old Town School of Folk Music. Specialized programs include work with people with dementia, children with special needs, and children's hospitals.

Steve Dawson and Diane Christiansen
Steve Dawson and Diane Christiansen have been co-conspirators, husband and wife, and leaders of the band Dolly Varden for more than 20 years. They live in Wicker Park with their dog Leo.
When they aren’t singing together, Diane spends her time making paintings and animations (christiansenstudio.com) and Steve teaches songwriting at the Old Town School of Folk Music. In 2020 Steve received an Esteemed Artist Award from the City of Chicago and his album with Funeral Bonsai Wedding, “Last Flight Out,” was released to rave reviews. He has a new solo album coming out in 2021 called, “At The Bottom Of A Canyon In The Branches Of A Tree” on Pravda Records.They are the first-ever First Time storytelling duo!
